Mediterranean Gluten-Free Greek Salad

Greek Salad is a fresh , light and a naturally gluten free salad , which is known to be an important part of Mediterranean diet. It is a combination of crunchy vegetables, and creamy feta cheese which makes it super healthy, tasty and refreshing. It is a perfect dish for summer breakfast, weight loss and hormonal imbalance.

Ingredients
  

1 cucumber (chopped)
2 tomatoes (chopped)
1 small onion (thin sliced)
½ cup olives (black/green)
50–70g feta cheese (cubes)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp oregano
Salt & black pepper (according to taste)
Optional: 1 tsp lemon juice

Method
 

Take a bowl and add cucumber, tomato, and onion
    Add olives
      Place feta cheese on top (do not crush it)
        Drizzle olive oil
          Sprinkle oregano, salt, and pepper
            Gently mix everything

              Notes

              Use fresh vegetables for the best taste and add feta cheese at the end without over-mixing. Choose extra virgin olive oil for healthy fats and better flavor, and add a little lemon juice for freshness. You can chill the salad before serving for a better taste. Keep cheese in moderation for weight loss, and add chicken, paneer, or chickpeas for extra protein. Avoid packaged dressings and stick to natural ingredients.
